My name's Ed, I'm currently living in London studying Philosophy and English Literature. If you haven't sussed it out from the title... I'm a vegan and I am very passionate about cycling!
I am hugely grateful for my sponsorship from Panagua Bikes, a friendly bike shop in Hayes near Bromley and Beta Sports Consultancy who provide excellent coaching based on the latest scientific evidence on improving physical performance.
About The Blog
I started writing this blog in my first season of road racing in 2014 to record and share my progress with anyone who's interested in knowing about it! I publish race reports, reviews and advice articles... I just generally like writing about cycling!
How I got into cycling!
I bought my first entry level (and current!) road bike in November of 2012 as a faster mode of transport for commuting to and from college/work. It wasn't until April of 2013 that I started looking into the sport of road cycling and participating in my first time trial and then subsequently going along to the Wightlink LCM Cycle Race team rides on the weekends.
In 2014 I joined Wightlink LCM Systems Road Racing Team, deciding I wanted to get into road racing, in my first season I managed some good results with wins and high placings both on the road and in time trial events.
September 2014 I moved to London for University and met the fantastic team at Panagua Bikes and Beta Sports Consultancy.
